Version 6.4
I have ordered issue two of 8 Faces magazine which is for devotees of typography - which I am not but I do love a good kerning with flourish! I completely missed issues one - it’s a limited print run but I have picked up the digital version which I will be reading on the iPad. The magazine is in an unusual square format which makes it simple to create for devices but doesn’t take full advantage of them but that’s not an issue as the target is the printed version.
Issue two looks like a really well finished product that will no doubt grace many design office coffee tables but to me it is important to surround myself with good design and typography is a key element - one that has been long missed on the web but 2011 will be the year of type.
