EEcms tip - looping urls

ExpressionEngine has some instances where it rewrites URLs by appending the linked URL onto the index.php URL - such as: http://simoncox.com/index.php?URL=http://www.example.com

This should get rewritten but if you find that it keeps looping, as I have done in the past many times, then you will have come up against a couple of mod_security rules on your server - just drop a quick note to your hosting supplier tell them whats happening and they will be able to turn the relevant rule option off and all will be good.
