Version 6.4
Responsive Web Design by Ethan Marcotte is possibly going to be the most influential book since Zeldman’s Designing with Web Standards was first published. It’s a short book but puts together all the current thinking on how to build a website to be used on today’s and tomorrows browsing platforms. Good how-to’s in it make it a useful reference that I expect many will use often over the next few years. Hopefully the paper stock the printed version will use is up to the punishment! Having finished reading it this morning on my iphone on the train I realise I am going to have to redo this whole site again - even though I changed it to a responsive design last week.
