The raid on Adobe customer user names and passwords has everyone annoyed. However every black cloud has a silver lining if you look for it. I use 1Password for mac, iPhone and iPad but despite this I still use several common passwords and I shouldn’t. It’s apparent that a lot of the Adobe customer password came with password hint information and I suspect putting the hint ‘my normal password’ would be entice a hacker to have a look at other online services you frequent. So I wondered how many old log-in details I had that were vulnerable. 1Password has a great Security Audit function - its in the main screen panel bottom left. This can tell you how many weak, duplicate and old passwords you have. I have a lot of work to do!
