Articles - Whitesands Quay

Whitesands Quay was the third and last part of the Ding Dong Moor Light Railway created by the Dutch modeller Reinier Hendriksen. Sadly Reinier passed away before he had the chance to build Whitesands Quay but the first two boards, Moors End and Ding Dong Moor still exist and can be seen at Valkenburg Narrow Guage Railway Museum. I was given a copy of Reinier's designs for Whitesands Quay as something I might consider to build as my next exhibition layout by my friend Richard Glover, who built Pagham Harbour amongst others, and I really liked the design so took it on as a project.
