I was at BrightonSEO at the end of April/start of May and had a brilliant time catching up with old friends, making new ones and soaking in a lot of knowledge from the talks.
Having stayed at one, rather expensive, hotel for the past few years we decided to find somewhere else after the room they gave us last year was unsatisfactory in many, many ways. We found a hotel room that s more like a little apartment and only 5 mins walk away from BrightonSEO, plus my new favourite pub is on the way! So i have already booked it for the next event!
Work
Finished a hosting migration and feature update for an old WordPress site - not my favourite CMS but it was for a good cause. It has reminded me about the technical debt we put ourselves into when creating websites. It also reminded me why I do not build any of my own sites with WordPress.

Hobbies
No progress on Whitesands Quay. I have been drawing up a model of the Fountain Hotel in Deal - have been researching it over the years and want to make a small model of it. I have already cut a first version of the front using my new Creatlity laser, including the brickwork which would have take hours on the little Neje laser I have.
Gaming
Not done any gaming since Harold Halibut.
